The quilt I really wanted to make

Ever since I first started quilting I had this quilt  by Cluck Cluck Sew bookmarked and later favourited on Flickr and later again pinned on Pinterest.  I don't quite know why it has taken me until now to make it.

I bought the fabrics 18 months ago and have been making HSTs every so often for the last 9 months or so.

For some unknown reason I decided that the 3 weeks before Christmas was the ideal time to finish this.

Thankfully it quilted really easily!

  5. 3 weeks before Christmas? Yep, the obvious time, I mean, it's red, so it's seasonal ;o) It looks fab anyway, enjoy!

  7. it's fantastic - might have to re-consider my hatred of triangles (not how they look - just making them!) Can I vote for your second photo from the top as my favourite photo? Shed window + beautiful quilt!
